1980 Alvarez Yairi model DY-75. Says 28 1-80 on the label which i assume is the date. Guitar is fabulous! Solid spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back and sides (i assume they are made from plies, not solid). Beautiful binding all over. Abalone inlay. Original bridge pins with abalone inlay as well. Guitar is all original with original Grover tuners.

I love the attention to detail in the craftsmanship, like the diamond shaped headstock volute on the back of the neck (like 70′s Martins). Guitar plays like a dream with low action. Sound it to die for (See video)

Comes with original hard case made just like 70′s Martin case says Alvarez on the front.

Besides some very minor scuffs guitar has one ding (see pic). The pickguard shows minor shrinking (see pic) but no wood damage. Neck and bridge are tight and need no re-sets.

No breaks, cracks, or repairs.
